This trip is sure to ticket off two bucket list locations within Zimbabwe. The trip will start at the mighty Victoria falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Here you will stay at a lodge that is eco friendly and within walking distance to the falls. Your second destination will be Hwange National Park, the largest natural reserve in Zimbabwe, where you will partake in game drives, bush walks and learn about the many community and environmental initiatives the camp is involved in.
Day 1
Accommodation: Ilala Lodge

You and your family will be collected at the Victoria Falls airport and transferred to the Ilala Lodge, located right next to the falls, so close you can see the spray and hear the roar of the falls. The lodge is family friendly and borders the Victoria Falls National Park so you can occasionally be surprised by wild animals grazing on the hotel lawn.
You will end the day with a breathtaking sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River which includes finger snacks and selected alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
Victoria Falls has many activities for all members of the family. We have also included a Shop with a Purpose at Victoria Falls which gives you the opportunity to give back to the places you visit.
Day 2
The second day of your trip will bring you even closer to the falls on a guided tour. It is lead by aa qualified guide and takes about 2 hours in which you will learn all about the surrounding areas wildlife and history. The second item for the day is an inclusive activity called the Pay It Forward Tour, which supports the local community in some way. You, as the guest, get to choose an organisation you’d like to support and an interactive meet will then be arranged. It is wonderful to note that the Lodge is a Green Tourism Silver Award Winner, an award which demonstrates a commitment to people, places and our planet.
The rest of the day is yours to explore. For the adventurous families you can take a scenic helicopter flip or Zip-line over a gorge and for those looking for more relaxing activities you can wonder the streets of the town or simply lounge at the onsite swimming pool.
Day 3-6
Accommodation: The Hide Safari Camp – The Private Hide

Day 3 will begin with breakfast and then you are off to your next destination, Hwange National Park. You will be staying at The Hide Safari Camp-Private Villa, a beautiful camp surrounded by 360-degree views and a nearby waterhole. The camp has its own private plunge pool, a private guide and vehicle and private dinning and lounge. This is the perfect place to unwind and let yourself be enthralled by nature and wildlife. You will go on daily game drives and bush walks, and the property has an underground hide near the Watering hole so you can relax and wait for the animals to come to you.
Hwange National Park is filled with an abundance of wildlife, making it a must see destination.
Day 7
On departure day you will have a morning game drive in Hwange followed by breakfast at the camp. After which you will be transferred back to Victoria Falls town where you can continue your own journey.
