Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma, the second stay on this trip, is a family favourite with child friendly game drives and child friendly menus ensuring your young ones are never left out. The lodge also supports the Nakatindi village and school in Livingstone, so you can give back to the community as part of your stay.

Day 1-3

You will start your journey on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls where a hotel representative will meet you in Livingstone for your short transfer to the hotel.
This hotel has river-facing rooms and you can soak in the fantastic view of the Zambezi River from your private balcony. Not only is the hotel nearby Victoria Falls, one of the Seven natural wonders of the world, there is a lot more to offer at the David Livingstone including a tranquil Health Spa, a traditional Zambian restaurant, beautiful sunrise and sunset views over the Zambezi River and a shuttle services to Livingstone town.
On day 2 you will be treated to an included Guided Tour of the Falls on the Zambian side, which will be lead by a knowledgeable guide and will take between 2 to 3 hours.
After a gourmet breakfast with a view of the Zambezi River, you will be collected by your driver and taken back to Livingstone Airport, from the airport you will change vehicles and you will be transferred to your next lodge in Zambia which is a short 12kms upstream from Victoria Falls.
Day 4-7
Accommodation: Sanctuary Retreat Sussi & Chuma (All Game viewing is included)
Meals: Fully inclusive with non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
After exploring Victoria Falls you will head to your Safari destination.
We have chosen Sussi & Chuma in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, as it is the only lodge in the area to offer guided walking safaris. Your accommodation is nothing short of awe inspiring, set in 1 of 12 treehouses connected by wooden walkways and hidden amongst the Jackalberry trees and Phoenix palms.
The lodge offers game drives in custom-built 4×4 safari vehicles where you can expect to see many animals including elephant, Giraffe, hippo and Zebra in large numbers. If you are looking to do more activities you could also find yourself canoeing down the Zambezi, enjoying a sundowner cruise, taking a break to do some seasonal fishing or taking a tour of the local school and village.
Day 8
This is your departure day and after your morning activity, usually a game drive or walking safari, you will take a short transfer back to Livingstone to either the airport or an alternative destination for your onward journey.
