Itinerary

Day 1-7

Accommodation: Nkwali Camp

Meals: Rate is fully inclusive of all meals and local drinks.

At Lusaka Airport in Zambia, you will check in and take a flight to the Mfuwe Airstrip in South Luangwa National Park. From Mfuwe you will be collected and take a 40 minute drive to Nkwali camp for the start of your superb service safari. The camp offers an authentic and personalised experience as there is 1 guide per 4 guests ratio.

Each chalet offers great views of the river and allows you to bask in the African skies from the deck of your chalet. Elephants are among the many animals often seen around the camp. We have chosen this lodge as it has exclusive access directly into South Luangwa National Park by boat, so you get the best of game viewing with both water and land based safaris..

Activities include Village Tours around the Mfuwe area, a visit to a Wildlife Education Centre, and a visit to local tribal textiles shops which sell unique hand painted textiles. Some seasonal activities include boating and walking safaris, allowing you to explore lagoons and gain amazing bush insights from the extremely skilled and experienced guides at camp.

Day 8

This is your departure day so after your morning activity, a walking safari or game drive and a lovely breakfast , you will check out and take a drive back to Mfuwe Airport. From the airport take your flight back to Lusaka International Airport.
