Itinerary

Day 1 – 2

Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge

Meals: All meals included

Destination one for this trip is situated on the banks of the Chobe River and is the oldest lodge in Chobe. You will fly into Kasane International Airport and then be transferred to the lodge where you will have the afternoon to soak in your surroundings. The lodge, which has been recently renovated, has many facilities including a cocktail bar Pool deck with its own viewing deck, a new enlarged swimming pool, a heath and beauty salon and a newly built restaurant.

Your package includes two games drive and park fees into Chobe National Park as well as two sunset boat cruises on the Chobe River.

Day 3 – 4

Accommodation: Rra Dinare

Day 3 will start with breakfast and a game drive and then you will leave to Rra Dinare, a Camp set in a private concession adjacent to Moremi Game reserve that overlooks the Gomoti River and its flood plains, proving an experience where you are completely immersed in your surroundings. To get there you will transfer to Kasane airport where you will take a light aircraft charter flight to a landing strip near the camp.

The Camp will allow you to experience the beauty of the Okavango Delta in comfort, with luxury tent accommodation and beautiful main areas, all 100% eco-friendly.
A safari adventure wouldn’t be complete with game drives so we have included day and night drives with a guide and tracker. Also on offer are some seasonal Mokoro safaris and game walks which can be arranged.

Day 5 – 6

Accommodation: Moremi Crossing

Moremi Crossing is your next destination. You will take a light aircraft flight to their airstrip which is also in the Okavango Delta. Moremi Crossing is a 16 tent, eco friendly camp built on a palm fringed island called Ntswi, overlooking Chief’s Island. You will be staying in one of 16 luxurious vintage safari tents each with a private deck and views over the Boro River.

This lodge is unique in that it focuses on activities with a slower pace. Take a guided walk on Chiefs island or Mokoro safari through the waterways to get up close with nature. You can also opt to take a boat cruise or where you can simply unwind and enjoy your surroundings.

Day 7 – 8

Accommodation: Tau Pan

The last destination on your trip is Tau Pan. You can enjoy a morning activity and breakfast at Moremi Crossing before you head out. You will first take a light aircraft flight to Maun, from there you will fly to Makgadikgadi and then enjoy a short drive to Tau Pan.
This lodge and its surroundings are a stark contrast from the Okavango. You will now be located in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, the second biggest reserve in the world, with its immense grassland landscapes, the wild and ruggedness of the reserve will leave you in awe.

The lodge is the first semi-permanent camp inside the Reserve and was built with its surroundings in mind. It overlooks a permanent watering hole and all of the main areas such as the dining area and bar, encircle a fire pit, perfect for night time star gazing. Spend mornings and evenings on game drives or take a day trip to locations like Deception Valley or the Passarge Pans. Nature walks with bushman trackers are great for those wanting to learn more about Central Kalahari people.

The camp also has a sleep out deck which is ideal for star gazing and can be booked on a first come first serve basis upon arrival.

Day 9

On departure day you will enjoy your usual breakfast and morning activity before being shuttled back to the airstrip where you will fly back to Maun international Airport to continue on your own journey.
