Next up is Victoria falls, where you will have a guided tour of one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. Lastly you will have time to experience Cape Town where you will visit the Cape of good hope and Boulders beach.

Itinerary

Day 1-2

Accommodation: Courtyard Sandton

Meals: Breakfast included

Your flight will land in Johannesburg at OR Tambo International Airport and you will be transferred to the Courtyard Sandton by one of our representatives. The hotel is in walking distance to shopping malls and restaurants so you can explore in the evening.

The next day you will depart at o8h00 for a Johannesburg City Tour which will last about 4-5 hours. The tour includes a visit to Mary Fitzgerald Square & Newtown sites, Carlton Centre, Constitution Hill, Westcliff views and a photo opportunity at Nelson Mandela Bridge and Museum Africa. Johannesburg started as a mining settlement and is on its way to becoming the 40th largest metropolitan area in the world.

Day 3-5

Accommodation: Shishangeni Lodge

Meals: All meals included

Your day will begin with a hearty breakfast before you are transferred back to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, where you will take a flight to Kruger Airport in Nelspruit. Once you land in Nelspruit you will be driven for one hour to your lodge in Kruger national Park. Shishangeni Lodge has luxurious rooms with indoor and outdoor dining areas, private game-viewing decks and a swimming pool in the main area. During your stay here you will experience daily game drives and walking safaris where you can learn about the local biodiversity.

Day 6-7

Accommodation: Batonka Lodge

It’s time to see the Victoria Falls. After breakfast and a morning game drive at Batonka Lodge, you will be driven to the airport in Nelspruit and then board your 2 hour flight to Victoria Falls. Once you land, it is a 20 minute drive with a scheduled transfer to the town of Victoria Falls where you will check into Batonka Lodge. Your first evening at the lodge will be one to remember as we have arranged a sunset cruise for you on the famous Zambezi River which includes snacks and beverages. After the cruise you can take a stroll to town and enjoy dinner at your own leisure.

Your second day in Zimbabwe will include a guided tour of Victoria Falls and we suggest a visit to the Boma restaurant for a cultural dinner. This can be booked by us upon request.

Day 8 – 11

Accommodation: Hollow on the Square

Time to head back to South Africa. After your breakfast at Batonka lodge you will be driven back to Victoria Falls Airport where you will depart your flight to Cape Town. A driver will be waiting for you at Cape Town International Airport and will take you to your boutique hotel, Hollow on the Square. The hotel is located in the heart of Cape Town City so most attractions are at your fingertips. The hotel is modern with a restaurant and bar area that open onto an historic square where you can enjoy outdoor dining. You can also take a complimentary transfer to and from the V&A Waterfront.

On day 9 of your stay, you will take a 3-4 hour Cape Town City tour where you will learn about the city’s cultural beginnings. Explore the colourful streets of the Bo-Kaap, Cape Town’s traditional Malay Quarter and visit Greenmarket Square, a vibrant and local African flea market where you can buy some gifts for those back home.

Day 10 will include a half day tour of Cape Point which includes scenic views of the Atlantic coastline as we drive past Clifton, Camps Bay and Hout Bay, seeing the African penguins at boulders beach (+/- R160 for own account), a scenic drive along the famous Chapman’s peak pass (if open), a visit to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and more. You will then have the rest of your time in Cape Town to explore other famous attractions or just wander the streets and endless coffee shops.

Day 12

Sadly, all good things come to an end, so after breakfast at the Eighty Ate Squared restaurant you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for the end of your journey.
