Itinerary

Arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, where you will be met by a representative of Namibia Tracks and Trails who will escort you to the check in for your charter flight to the Namib Rand Nature Reserve. Embark on your charter flight to Keerweder, where you will be met and transferred to the lodge.

Overnight at Kwessi Dunes

Early morning departure to explore all that Sossusvlei and Deadvlei have to offer and scenic drive to the Sesriem Canyon.

Depart for Swakopmund from Namib Rand. Today’s flight will give you an aerial view of the majestic dunes surrounding Sossusvlei. Proceed along the coast (subject to weather conditions) over Conception Bay, Sandwich Harbour, and its famous lagoon to Swakopmund. A transfer company will drive you from the Swakopmund Airport to your accommodation.

You will board the small aircraft for your flight to Twyfelfontein.

Overnight at Camp Kipwe

You will have an early morning drive in search of the desert elephants.

After breakfast you will be escorted to the airfield for your flight to a private game reserve bordering the Etosha National Park. Upon landing at Ongava’s private airstrip your rangers already await you and will transfer you to Ongava Lodge.

You will embark on a morning game drive in the Etosha National Park.
After a light lunch and a siesta back at the lodge you explore the Ongava Reserve on an afternoon game drive.

After a last morning activity & breakfast, the scheduled flight takes you to the Okonjima Nature Reserve, which is the home of the AfriCat Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation and protection of Namibian predators.

Today you fly back to Windhoek in time for check-in on your outbound flight.
Take care of all formalities and bid farewell to Namibia; we wish you a safe journey home.

Terms

  • Travelling costs as per itinerary, game drives, activities, entrance- and park fees;
  • All accommodation as specified on a sharing basis;
  • Meals and drinks as specified;
  • Activities, excursions and road transfers as specified;
  • Air Taxi flights as specified (no private charter flights);
  • Accommodation taxes, the applicable Tourism Levies and all relevant VAT.
  • Expenses of a personal nature, i.e. laundry, telephone expenses, gratuities, porterage fees, etc.;
  • Any additional meals;
  • Any additional activities;
  • Any other scheduled flights and related taxes;
  • Visa fees where relevant (Visa payments are required in U$ Dollar cash –
  • Traveller’s cheques and credit cards are not accepted for this purpose);
  • Cancellation-, baggage-, medical- and evacuation insurance;
  • Any new Government taxes, levies, etc. which are beyond our control.
  • Services and accommodations are subject to availability at the time of booking;
  • Luggage allowance is strictly 20kg per person including hand luggage and camera equipment and it must be packed in a soft bag. If these limits above are exceeded, the excess luggage can be held (or forwarded to the point of exit) for your flight out at the end of the safari. Kindly note that the additional cost incurred will be for your account;
  • Please advise us before you travel if you are likely to have excess luggage, and we will make the necessary arrangements;
  • All Air Taxis only depart / fly in good weather conditions. It is to the suppliers discretion, what constitutes as good or bad weather conditions;
  • Should flights be cancelled due to bad weather conditions or any other reasons, Namibia Tracks & Trails cannot be held liable for any additional costs that may arise, for any programme changes that might occur or for any other missed flights, be it domestic or international;
  • It is compulsory for all guests to have comprehensive cancellation-, default-, baggage-, emergency evacuation- and medical insurance for the duration of the trip;
  • The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary;
  • Services and accommodations are subject to availability at the time of booking;
  • All relevant booking conditions of Namibia Tracks & Trails and/or any other booked services will apply to your travel arrangements;
  • The relevant cancellation policy applies should you fail to join or start your safari/journey for any reason, including airline delays or missed connection. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance for this purpose. You become liable for cancellation penalties immediately on confirmation of booking services;
  • Passports must be valid (usually for at least 6 months after date of travel) and still have at least 3 blank visa (not endorsement) pages;
  • All visa requirements must be fulfilled and these are your responsibility.
