Your adventure begins in the Timbavati and Klaserie Private Reserves, renowned for their uncrowded landscapes and superb predator sightings. You’ll have excellent opportunities to encounter the majestic Big Five — lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo — during morning, afternoon and spotlit evening drives. Guided bush walks add another dimension as you experience the bush up close.

Day 1-3 - Safari begins: Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

Arrive at Hoedspruit Airport, where you’ll be met for a seamless transfer to Simbavati Camp George in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve. Surrounded by tranquillity and uninterrupted wilderness views, this luxury lodge offers the perfect start to your private Kruger safari.
Settle in for three nights of immersive wildlife experiences, including twice-daily game drives with expert guides, optional bush walks and exciting night drives in search of the Big Five and other iconic species. Between activities, retreat to your spacious suite with its private deck overlooking the bush, cool off in the pool, enjoy spa treatments or watch wildlife visiting the nearby waterhole.
Day 4-6 - Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Your adventure continues with an early morning game drive at Simbavati Camp George, a perfect way to start your day with sightings of wildlife at their most active. After the drive, you’ll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out. Your guide will then transfer you to Simbavati River Lodge, set along the picturesque Nhlaralumi River in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.
Spend three nights enjoying twice-daily game drives, optional bush walks and superb game viewing along the riverbanks. The lodge’s serene setting and inviting guest areas offer plenty of space to unwind: relax by the pool, book a spa treatment or watch animals gather at the water’s edge.
Day 7 - Departure

Enjoy one final morning game drive at Simbavati River Lodge, a last chance to soak in the incredible wildlife and scenery before your journey home. After returning to the lodge for breakfast, you’ll check out and meet your transfer for the drive back to Hoedspruit Airport.
