7-Day Zimbabwe Highlights Package

You and your family will be met and collected at the Victoria Falls International Airport by our local representative. From here, you’ll transfer to the Ilala Lodge, located right next to the mighty Victoria Falls. The lodge is so close you can see the spray and hear the roar of the Falls. The lodge is family-friendly and borders the Victoria Falls National Park, so you can occasionally be surprised by wild animals grazing on the hotel lawn.

You’ll end the day with a breathtaking sundowner cruise on the Zambezi River, which includes finger snacks and selected alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Victoria Falls has many activities for all members of the family. We have also included a Shop with a Purpose at Victoria Falls, which allows you to give back to the places you visit.

The second day of your exciting trip will bring you even closer to the Falls on a guided tour. It is led by a qualified guide and takes about 2 hours, in which you will learn all about the surrounding areas’ wildlife and history.

The second experience for the day is an inclusive activity called the Pay It Forward Tour, which supports the local community in some way. You, as the guest, get to choose an organisation you’d like to support, and an interactive meeting will then be arranged. It is wonderful to note that the Lodge is a Green Tourism Silver Award Winner, an award which demonstrates a commitment to people, places, and our planet.

The rest of the day is yours to explore. For the adventurous families, you can take a scenic helicopter flight or zip-line over a gorge, and for those looking for more relaxing activities, you can wander the streets of the town or simply lounge at the onsite swimming pool.

The next day will begin with a hearty breakfast, then check out. Then, you are off to your next destination, Hwange National Park.

You will be staying at The Hide Safari Camp-Private Villa, a beautiful camp surrounded by 360-degree views and a nearby waterhole. The camp has its private plunge pool, a private guide and vehicle, and private dining and lounge. This is the perfect place to unwind and let yourself be enthralled by nature and wildlife. You will go on daily game drives and bush walks, and the property has an underground hide near the Watering hole so you can relax and wait for the animals to come to you.

Hwange National Park is filled with an abundance of wildlife, making it a must-see destination.

On departure day, you’ll enjoy the last morning game drive in Hwange, followed by breakfast at the camp.
