What to Expect
This 4-day safari focuses on maximising your time inside Kruger National Park, while balancing wildlife encounters with scenic exploration. Unlike shorter safaris that only offer brief morning or afternoon drives close to camp, this itinerary includes longer game drives that cover a wider range of ecological zones. This increases your chances of spotting diverse wildlife across rivers, grasslands, and bushveld regions.
This safari uses comfortable 4-star, privately owned lodges just outside Hazyview, including Sanbonani Hotel and Umbhaba Eco Lodge.

Meals included: Breakfast & Dinner
Depart before sunrise to make the most of the cooler morning hours, when wildlife activity is at its peak. Enter Kruger National Park in an open safari vehicle and spend the day exploring a range of ecosystems, including rivers, grasslands, and bushveld.
Your guide will stop for breakfast, comfort breaks, and lunch at a rest camp (lunch at own expense), while sharing insight into animal behaviour and the park’s diverse landscapes. Meals included: Breakfast & Dinner
Enjoy a delectable, hot breakfast at 07:30, before you guide meets you at 08:00 in a closed, air-conditioned vehicle to explore the spectacular Panorama Route. Highlights include God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, the Three Rondavels, and Lisbon Falls.
The route climbs into the northern Drakensberg Mountains, offering dramatic scenery, viewpoints, and short walks. Weather conditions can vary, so comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket are recommended.
Lunch is enjoyed in the town of Graskop, known for its local eateries and craft shops. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and an early night ahead of your final safari.
Meals included: Breakfast
An early morning safari provides a final opportunity to explore Kruger National Park, focusing on areas not yet visited and animals missed on previous drives. Predators are often most active at this time (such as lions and leopards), making for excellent sightings and photographic opportunities.
