Itinerary
The start of your trip is from Kasane Airport and then you have a light aircraft transfer to Ghoha Hills. The lodge has breaktaking views of the African plains. The camp is eco-friendly and eco-sensitive and is in the Savuti area of the Chobe National Park. For families 2 luxury family-size tented rooms that sleep four and are suitable for two adults and two children. Throughout the day, depending on nature, there might be sightings of Elephant, Lion, Giraffe, Leopard, Roan antelope, Kudu, Warthog, Buffalo, Impala, Waterbuck, Cheetah and a collection of bird species. Guests usually arrive at Ghoha around midday or later in the afternoon, they can then join for high tea in the main area. Here you will be introduced to your guide and he will take you on a sunset drive along the private road network around the lodge. This will end at the scenic Baobab site with breathtaking sunset views and sundowners served.
After a morning game drive, you will have a road transfer to your next lodge called Nogatsaa Pans inside Chobe National Park which is the second largest National Park in Botswana. The lodge is built with sensitivity to the environment Nogatsaa Pans Lodge is fully run on solar power, utilizing the available sun energy to generate enough renewable power to provide the lodge with all of its energy requirements and significantly reduce the site’s environmental impact. For families there is 2 family tents as well.
Activities at the lodge include birdwatching, morning and afternoon game drives in open 4×4 safari vehicles, stargazing, sundowner drives and private dinners, the later if required.
Zimbabwe
After the morning game drive and breakfast back at the lodge, you will have a road transfer to Kasane which is 80kms away. From Kasane you will be collected by your driver and transferred across the border to Zimbabwe through the Kazangula border which is a short boat crossing across the river and approximately 100kms road transfer to Victoria Falls.
You will check into your lodge called Victoria Falls Safari Lodge which is 4kms from the town of Victoria Falls and we have chosen this lodge as it overlooks a water hole. Activities include a sunset cruise on the river.
After breakfast and check out, your driver will collect you and you will have a transfer to the Victoria Falls International Airport for the end of your trip.
