Itinerary
Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge
Upon arrival at Kasane Airport, you’ll be transferred to the historic Chobe Safari Lodge for a two-night stay. Situated right on the banks of the Chobe River, this is the region’s most established lodge and offers incredible views from its private patios, restaurant, and bars.
Your time here is all about variety. You’ll head into Chobe National Park for two traditional game drives and take to the water for two sunset boat cruises. Watching elephant herds congregate at the river’s edge from the water is a perspective you won’t soon forget.
Accommodation: Moremi Crossing
After a final morning activity and breakfast, you’ll hop on a light aircraft for a scenic flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta. Your home for the next two nights is Moremi Crossing, a 100% eco-friendly tented camp that runs entirely on solar power.
This leg of the trip focuses on the Delta’s famous waterways. You can glide through the lily pads in a traditional mokoro, head out on guided boat cruises, or join a walking safari on Chief’s Island. For those looking to slow down even further, there’s also seasonal fishing available. The large open-plan deck is the perfect spot to park off and watch the sunset over the floodplain.
Accommodation: Rra Dinare
A quick charter flight takes you deeper into the Delta to Rra Dinare. Each luxury tent here overlooks a busy river floodplain, meaning you can often spot wildlife without even leaving your room. Because this camp is located in a private concession, your guides have the freedom to go off-road and stay out after dark for night drives.
This is your best chance to track nocturnal predators or get closer to sightings that are off-limits in the main national parks. When you aren’t in a vehicle, you can explore the seasonal channels by mokoro or join a guided game walk to see the smaller details of the bush.
After a final early morning game drive and a hearty breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Maun Airport. From here, you’ll connect with your onward travel arrangements, heading home with a camera full of memories.
