Itinerary
From your arrival at Kasane airport, you will be transferred on a scheduled transfer to Chobe Safari Lodge, a popular lodge on the Chobe River, your destination for 2 nights. Your activities include 2 game drives including the park fees into Chobe National Park and 2 sunset boat cruises on the Chobe River. it is the oldest lodge in Chobe so is well established.
Lots of facilities at this lodge include a restaurant and 2 bars with great views of the river and the rooms have patios where you can enjoy the views as well.
We recommend the game drives into Chobe National Park and the boat cruise that is included for your stay, both activities will be very memorable.
After your morning activity and breakfast at the lodge, you will take a light aircraft flight to your next lodge for 2 nights called Moremi Crossing which is also in the Okavango Delta. We have added this lodge as then you get to experience a true water based activity lodge but still in the Okavango Delta.
This camp is also 100% eco friendly and is a new style tented camp, it has the latest solar and waste disposal technology. Family tents are available. Great experience to watch the sun set while sitting back and relaxing on the large open plan deck that has a great view over the river onto Chief’s Island.
Activities also include Mokoro activities PLUS walks on the famous Chief’s Island, boat cruises and fishing.
After your breakfast, morning activity and check out you will take a light aircraft charter flight to the Okavango Delta and then a transfer to your next safari camp called Rra Dinare. The Okavango will be one of the highlights.
Stay in luxury tents and there is also family tent. Each overlooks the a river floodplain so you will see many animals from your tent. The camp is eco-friendly as it has the latest in solar and waste technology. Activities will include day and night game drives in the private concession where you can also go off road with your guide and tracker. They also offer game walks and season water activities mokoro canoes.
After your morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred back to the airstrip and take your light aircraft flight back to Maun Airport for the end of your journey. You will continue with your onward journey.
