Set with in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve of the North West Province of South Africa, The Impodimo Game Lodge is located on a ridge and each room has a private deck on which you can enjoy striking views of the Africa bush. The reserve covers an area of 75000 hectares and is on the border of Botswana.

The lodge makes contributions to Saving the Survivors, a organisation that cares for and raises young orphaned Rhinos. They also help support a local primary school and the The Last Hope Organization, a non-profit humanitarian organisation that caters for abused, abandoned ,neglected and underprivileged children.

Children over the age of 6 years are welcome on game drives, while younger ones can go on a ‘kiddies bumble drive’, which is shorter and aimed at holding their attention.

Touch down at Johannesburg Airport where you will be welcomed by representative ready to accompany you to the light aircraft flight pick up location for your onward flight to Madikwe. On arrival at Madikwe Airstrip you will be transferred to your base for the next 3 nights. The Lodge is home to the famous Big 5 as well as the Painted Wolf (African Wild Dogs), Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena, a variety of large mammals and bird life. All of which can be observed on your morning and evening game drives, on guided bush walks or from the comfort of the lodge elephant hide.

Departure day will start with breakfast at the lodge before you are taken to the Madikwe Airstrip for your flight back to Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport.
